Sudheer

Sudheer is a master Kalamkari artist from the charming district of Chittoor in Andhra Pradesh, India. As a first-generation Kalamkari artist, he has worked hard to achieve success in his field and holds a Bachelor’s in Visual Arts with a specialization in painting from Kannada University, Hampi. Sudheer's outstanding efforts in Kalamkari have earned him several prestigious awards, including the ‘Andhra Pradesh State Award’ in 2007, the ‘Mahatma Gandhi Memorial Award’ in 2006, and the ‘Konaseema Chitrakala Parisad Award’ in 2009. He has also participated in numerous art camps and has gained recognition for his exceptional skill in the traditional art form. In 2022, Sudheer's work was displayed at Rajpath in the national capital on Republic Day, further highlighting his talent and dedication to the unique and beautiful Kalamkari art form.
