Mithlesh Shyam

Born in 1991, Mithilesh Shyam hails from Pattangarh, Madhya Pradesh. He belongs to a family of a Pardhan sub-group of the Gond Tribe. He began his drawing at the age of 14 years old under the tutelage of his sister, Radha Tekam. They are linked to the famous Jangarh Singh Shyam through paternal ancestry. Mithlesh has a distinctive style of executing the infilling pattern – a combination of dots, dashes, and small curves that fill the larger shapes in a painting. He has been exhibited in several prestigious organizations like Lalit Kala Akademi in New Delhi, and IGNAC in New Delhi.
